First Day of Spring!

Okay, so maybe it isn't officially the first day of spring, but it sure felt like it. We've had some beautiful weather the past two days, and Juan and I were lucky enough to get a half day off work yesterday to take Mateo to his 15 month checkup (we are a month late)! Mateo is 32.5 inches long and weighs 26 pounds. He is still 75th percentile on his height and weight. Unfortunately the doctor also found that he has a double ear infection. We thought he wasn't feeling well, so at least now we know was wrong. It was such a beautiful day so we decided to go to the park for some fun. Apparently everybody else with kids had the same idea, because the park was packed. We played on the playground for a little bit, but Mateo must take after me and not like crowds, because most of the time he spent playing in the grass with a stick. After the park we went to Chuck E Cheese for some pizza and games. This was our first experience there, and Mateo had a really good time. They had quite a few rides for toddlers and he kept wanting to ride them over and over again. We went back to the park today to play some more and to take advantage of the amazing weather, it is supposed to get cold again tomorrow. Today Mateo was intrigued by the acorns, and had a lot of fun in the swings.
When Mateo is on the swings, he gets amused when he pretend like he is kicking you. It is so cute, so we decided to get it on tape.
