Ice Day

I know my last post said it was the first day of spring....I was sorely mistaken. We are experiencing the coldest weather we have seen in over 15 years. The wind chill is in the negatives, and we had inches of ice on the ground today, so needless to say, we stayed home from work today. It is fine with me, because this way we don't have to deal with all of the SuperBowl crowds downtown. It is obvious that Mateo takes after me, because we were both stir crazy by 10am this morning. It is quite challenging to keep a child entertained when you can't leave the house. The same is going to be true tomorrow - the schools have already announced they're closed. Wish us luck! We are going to have to be creative.

Here is the link to a video I posted. This video started with Mateo trying to put his hat on himself, this is something new he has started. It is funny because most of the time he doesn't pull it down so the hat is sticking up high off of his head. It turned into a game of hide and seek with Juan, then a little wrestling, and then a diaper mis-hap.
