'Tis the Season

What a busy couple of weeks it has been.  We've had both of our company Christmas parties and then this past weekend we had family Christmas at our house for the Stewart side of my family, took the kids to see Santa, and then I took Lady to see the Nutcracker last night.

Here are some pics from our parties.  It was a good time and Mateo finally got to meet aunts, uncles, and cousins that he had never met.

Last weekend we took the kids to ride the North Pole Express train in Grapevine with some friends from work.  Mateo had a great time, especially when Santa showed up on the train and handed out jingle bells to all of the kids.

It is all Spiderman all the time in our house.  These are Mateo's new Spiderman PJs, complete with webs.

The girls

At dinner at Texas de Brazil with Lady for date night.

Today was a really big day for Mia.  Not only did she start on real food at school, but she came home with her first ponytail.  I wanted to cry for both.  This child has been ready to eat real food for quite awhile and I've been putting it off until we went to her 9 month doctors appointment.  Mia weighed in at 22 pounds and was 29 inches long, which is 96th percentile for both.  She is the size of an average 15 month old.  Doc said she can start on table food so this is the result.  The daycare teachers sent me this pic at lunch.  She must think she's in heaven!
First pony tail.

All smiles!

And this is her serious face, usually this comes out in the high chair when we get ready to eat.

We went to see Santa yesterday.  Mateo actually opened up and talked to Santa, and Mia smiled and had no idea what was going on!

We finally found an indoor bounce house place around here so we took Mateo this weekend. Him (and Juan) had a great time and wore each other out!

And here is yet another video of Mia giggles.
