Happy 2nd Birthday Mateo!

Our little man is not so little anymore. He turned 2 on September 12th. Time flies so fast! He had a great birthday. I made my first decorated cake, and had to take some pictures so we had proof that I made it. It turned out pretty good, and Mateo loved it. Although I learned my lesson about black frosting - we all looked like we had rotten teeth after eating it. Mateo got some good presents, and he really got into opening them this time. The Mr. Potato Head was probably the biggest hit.

Grandma sent Mateo this Mickey Mouse hat from Disneyland - so cute!

He also got a big bag of animals, his favorite.

Mateo got a ride-on truck from Aunt Edith for his birthday too.  He loves it!

Mateo seems to be changing so fast, growing and learning everyday.  He loves music and dancing.  Here is a video of him playing the piano and dancing to the beats.  When the beat starts going faster, so does he.  This video looks fake, and looks like we sped it up, but we didn't - so funny.

It's hard to believe 2 years have passed, and it's so fun to watch Mateo turn into such a sweet little boy.  We look forward to what the future holds....
