The long weekend started Saturday when Lady and I took Mateo to visit Great Paw Paw. Mateo was very excited to see Aunt Cindy, and we were surprised when his cousin Holly came over to visit too. These are some pictures from the last time at Great Paw Paw's.

Mateo likes to lay back and float. He always looks so relaxed like he could fall asleep.

He was being very generous with kisses over the past few days, which is great because he's been stingy with them lately.
Today we went to the park early before the heat, came home and spent some time in the pool and had a BBQ at Lady and Paw Paw's with hamburgers and apple pie.

Everywhere we go Mateo grabs my finger and drags me around like he is my tour guide and leading the way.

While we were walking at the park Mateo started practicing walking backwards, sideways, and with big steps. People probably think we are crazy, but it's so cute to watch him develop coordination.
