11 Months

Mateo is 11 months old now. It’s amazing how much he changes every day. On August 5th, he took his first steps. He started by pushing his toy car around, and then he got brave and starting taking steps without his car. It’s so cute, he looks like a little zombie with his arms straight out for balance. You can also see in the video below that he learned to climb the stairs. This month Mateo also had his first sleepover with his BFF Cole in Aggieland. You can see the pictures on the Dewese blog. He had so much fun and got spoiled by CiCi and Pops Wolff. This was our first road trip and he did so well on the drive. It was very hard to keep him entertained after that weekend of fun! Yesterday we went to the Ringling Brothers parade in downtown after work. You can see what happened when we tried to put the circus hat on Mateo – it ended up on Juan instead. It was steaming hot – we’re going on over 10 day of over 100 degree heat. We went and took a break in Juan’s office, and Mateo enjoyed playing at Juan’s desk.
