Happy Birthday Mia!

Today Mia turned one.  This is a bittersweet day.  She has grown up so fast, but is turning into such a sweet beautiful girl.  It is so fun to watch her change every day.  We are so blessed to have such healthy, sweet babies!

The weekend ended great, but started out a little rough.  Juan left for Argentina last Monday, so I have been playing single mom all week.  Mia and Mateo both came down with a stomach bug that left us quarantined at the house all day Saturday.  That makes for a very long, restless day, but we survived.  They were both feeling much better today, so we went to Lady and Paw-Paw's to celebrate Mia's birthday.

Definitely her mama's daughter.  She has a sweet tooth!  She dug into that cake.  Considering this is the first time she's had sweets it's surprising it didn't make her sick!

Cutest overalls ever!  Thanks to Grandma, Grandpa, and Nana for all the new clothes for Mia's birthday!

Suddenly Mia loves the stethoscope.  I am praying this is a look into the future!  Dr. Mia?!?

Also a sign she has my blood in her - she loves waffles with cheese!  And she loves cheese - unlike Mateo.  

Mia stops in her tracks to watch this movie.  This was a life saver Saturday.

And I guess she has some tomboy in her.  She's a climber unfortunately.
