Mobile Baby

Mateo is crawling like a professional now, and trying to stand and walk every chance he can get. We put him in his playpen, which looks like baby jail, to keep him from running away from us. He loves to pull up on the side and practice standing without holding on. It's amazing how fast they can get moving only after a week of crawling. He is also enjoying eating finger foods now, which seems to be the only thing he wants to eat. He looks so proud of himself - I think it makes him feel like a big boy! We had a pretty rough start to the week when Mateo came down with pink eye in both eyes and an ear infection. He's over it now and back to normal, but he was a very sad sight earlier in the week, with both of his eyes swollen shut. We officially put our house on the market on Friday, and we started our househunt this weekend. Our realtor took us around yesterday to about 10 houses to get an idea of what is out there. We are looking for houses in an area with better schools and daycares. We didn't find anything we really like yet - although that is probably a good thing, because there is no telling how long it will take us to sell our house. Here are some pics from the week.
